As long as the internet is concerned, your Web Browser is one of the most important tools you can use to supplement the internet. And there are more than one web browsers; I get a lot of questions from some of my readers asking, “Which Web Browser is the most secured?” Actually to answer this will depend on what you call a Web browser. According to Wikipedia a Web browser is a software application for retrieving, presenting and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web.
The first Web Browser was launched in the year 1990 by Sir Tim Berners-lee, which was formally known as World Wide Web (WWW) and was later renamed Nexus.

1.) Google Chrome
Google chrome browser which is known as one of the most popular and powerful web browser is powered by Google Inc and also it’s a free web Browser. It was formally powered with the Webkit layout engine until its 27th version was released. It’s 28th version and above was powered with the Webkit fork Blink.
A search was conducted by NSS lab and they review the security potential of the most popular web browser, chrome browser had 70.4% malware block rate, which was backed up by the Google’s Malicious Protection.

Actually Net Application has spotted Google Chrome as the third most powerful web Browser when it comes to the size of user base. Google chrome was released in the year 2008 by Google Inc. That same year Google exposed most of the web Browser source code, the project was popularized as Chromium.
2.) Mozilla Firefox
Mozilla Firefox is also a free web browser like Google chrome, it was developed for Windows, OSX and Linux operating system, it also have a mobile version for android by Mozilla foundation Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine to render web pages, which implements current and anticipated web standards. As of July 2013, Mozilla Firefox has between 16 to 23% of world wide usage, According to Mozilla; Firefox counts over 450 million users worldwide.
Firefox web browser is popularly known in Indonesia, Germany and Poland, where it is the most popular browser with 57%, 45%,and 44%of the market share, respectively. However its malware blocking rate is really poor, it was record that it has 4.2% blocking rate which can’t be compare with the Chrome Browser that has 70.4%. This means that you are at a very big risk because your computer can easily get infected.
3.) Opera Mini
Opera mini web browser is considered to be one of the smallest web browsers. It is a browser developed primarily for Smartphone’s, Mobile Phones and personal digital assistant. Until version 4 it used the Java ME platform, requiring the mobile device to run Java ME applications. From version 5 it is also available as a native application for Android, bada, iOS, Symbian OS, and Windows Mobile. Opera Mini is offered free of charge, supported mainly through deals with mobile operators to have Opera Mini pre-installed in phones, and other sources of revenue such as search advertising deals, licensing and paid bookmarks and Speed Dial placement.
Security is essential while looking for a better web browser, opera mini is a well developed browser that has a cool security potential, it protect user from malicious web pages by automatically scanning the web pages against its huge database of known malware and phishing sites. Opera also allows users to enable do-not-track options and control the right to access geographical location details. Another novel feature is the option to control access rights to the web camera when surfing on social media web sites. 4.) Internet Explorer 10
Internet Explorer formally known as Windows Internet Explorer and Microsoft Internet Explorer is a series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft and included as part of the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems, starting in 1995. It was first released as part of the add-on package Plus! for Windows 95 that year. Later versions were available as free downloads, or in service packs, and included in the OEM service releases of Windows 95 and later versions of Windows.

Internet explorer is one of the most popular Web Browser worldwide, during 2002 and 2003 it attain a peak of 95% usage share. Although its usage share has reduced since the launch of safari, Firefox and chrome, each of these browsers now have more significant share than internet explorer.
Internet Explorer 10 became generally available on October 26, 2012 alongside with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. It became available for Windows 7 on February 26, 2013. Microsoft announced Internet Explorer 10 in April 2011 at MIX 11 in Las Vegas, releasing the first Platform Preview at the same time. At the show, it was said that Internet Explorer 10 was about 3 weeks in development. This release further improves upon standards support, including CSS3 gradients. Internet Explorer 10 drops support for Windows Vista and will only run on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and later. Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview was also released on the Windows 8 Release Preview platform.
The Four (4) listed Web Browser above are the best web browser so far, although there are more than four (4) web browsers but this four (4) mentioned Web browsers are surely the best and most secured Web Browsers.
